At this point in my life, in the month of June, I am extremely drawn to close ups. And as I mainly enjoy drawing and painting portraits this has lead me to analysing and perfecting the are of each facial feature. This leading to the study of lips.
I've always found lips to be a very interesting thing to draw as they are one of the only things that I can draw and achieve a moderate level of 3D look to them. I also enjoy how they can be distinguished as a very different colour to the rest of the face as they can be coloured with lipstick. This also adds a sensuality and passion to the lips thats makes them look desirable and alluring.
