Jumping

As my mother has frivolously encouraged me to get outside more especially since we're having such a beautiful summer (not), I decided this would be an opportunity to get my camera out and take photos. And having recently fixed/altered the trampoline from the state of disaster I wanted to layer a sequence of images of the jumping movement. This was slightly inspired by the works of artists such as Scott Eaton and Harold Edgerton .
Although the layering of the photos created a large amount of distortion of the scenery, which I did not want, I like the shapes made by the bodies in the photos. Also without the aid of a tripod the pictures change angle, which makes it hard for a clearer shape and motion to appear.
And as it was the first time that I photographed as fast movement as the jumping on the trampoline I had not fully explored of perfecting the shutter speed, enabling for more photos to be taken at once. Therefore this caused an interrupted patterns of images as sometimes the camera would not go off at all. Causing a movement in positions and a very dizzy head on my part from doing 6 forward flips.
