For the one week of my life where I had green hair I spent most of my time taking bad quality and generally over-posed pictures, which did not reflect the true colour of my hair. Which made it very hard to decide whether I liked it or not. As most artists do decided at some point in their life to dye or style my hair in a creative way, the summer is my only window to this as my school has a policy against individuality.
However the green hair did only last for a week as a result of washing without the right products and the sun from my holiday in france. And unfortunately as with all hair dye at some point there's a very awkward in-between period, where my hair was a horrible browny-green colour.
But though these photos were bad quality they gave me an excuse to take out the watercolours and highlight the hair colour in a pencil drawing.
It also made me think about the decisions up to deciding to dye my hair that colour. Of course theres an obvious appeal to the colour as it is visually quite beautiful and bright, which maybe reflected the statement I wanted to make. But maybe its because I'm always trying to differ myself from the crowd and dying my hair this colour did that. The bad thing about that idea was then many people were having it at a similar point, which made me look like a sheep within the flock.
Nevertheless this yeah again I have bought some hair dye of colour called Peacock Blue (2 pots just in case), and hope it will last much longer than before.
